Edutopia gives educators knowledge about what education needs to become. It goes beyond the basic classroom information to broaden the educators of today so they give students the necessary experiences needed for tomorrow. This is great information for me to inform the audience I am targeting in my Action Research Project - teachers of all grades and courses!

Eschool News is an informative source for articles beyond technology. I think this is helpful because the education world is forever growing, but is still existing in the traditional mode. I like the user friendly articles that will allow me to incorporate the
traditional with the future!

TwinCities.com Pioneer is a local paper but has a Educational section where I have found articles about teachers doing many innovative things with the students. This is a
good source to use to help other teachers see that ideas can actually work with today's learner.

Apple Hot News is my personal favorite because the news offered here keeps me updated with all the things Apple offers not only educationally, but in the world outside the classroom where many of our students will be existing. I like that it gives information about equipment, people using the Apples as well as educational uses. Great way to keep informed about the equipment I personally use.

About.com Secondary Education is another good choice to help those teachers in the secondary level. This is an informative site that will help those on the secondary level. I like this site because it helps me to push teachers to challenge our secondary learners. I have found great ideas here for those teachers who have asked me to help them create lessons that force students to work and think outside the box!

  1. Edutopia and ESchool News are some of my favorites also. I must say, "Duh" to the fact that you mentioned Apple. I hadn't even thought of that. Thanks for the reminder.

  3. Stacey, good choices in your sites to follow, and like Kelli said, "'Duh' to the fact that you mentioned Apple." I didn't think of that one either. I am interested in the eSchool News, so I will definitely be checking that one out.
